in the first game round 2023, around 300 school classes from many regions of Germany as well as from France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Georgia and Las Palmas participated in the online quiz duel "that's europe". The team of Bürger Europas e.V. says thank you for this great participation and congratulates the classes from the following schools for winning our material prizes:
Our Quizduell will start the next round on August 15, 2023. This will once again provide your students with an excellent opportunity to test and expand their knowledge of Europe and the work of the EU in a fun and exciting way! This free educational format was developed by Bürger Europas e.V. with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office.
In our quiz duels, two classes compete against each other online. Twenty interesting and varied questions about Europe and the EU are posed and answered simultaneously by the two classes. The correct answer is explained immediately by short videos or texts. Thus, we guarantee a great increase in knowledge for your students.
Our quiz duels run from August 15 to December 22, and can be played by two school classes at a time from 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. / 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. / 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Please use a room with a stable internet connection as well as a projector and speakers for the quizduel. At the beginning of the quiz duel, both classes have the opportunity to get to know each other in a 5-minute chat. Then the quiz begins with 20 questions and three answer options each. Please choose a smart moderator from your class in advance to coordinate and enter the chat messages and answers.
For each correct answer, the class receives one point. The class with the most points at the end of the quiz wins and is added to the list of all winning teams for that round of play. If there is a tie in points, both classes will be added to this list. In January 2024, we will draw classes from all the winning classes, who will then receive our prizes .

On this page, please first go to the -Booking Calendar-. button and then to Next. Now you will see the quiz dates between August 15 and December 22, 2023. Please note our legend for the green and red fields. As a next step, click on your desired day and time. Now click on the button -Book appointment-Then please enter your contact details. We will only use this information for this quiz. Only the school name will appear during the quiz duel. After you have entered your contact data, please click on the -continue- button in a final step. After a few minutes you will receive a booking confirmation and the code for the quiz access on the desired date to your e-mail address. On the day of the quizduel you can log in to the quiz from 30 minutes before the start on this page via the button -enter code-.
Maybe you can win over another class in your school or your partner school for an exciting quizduel. But of course you can also play against a random opponent in our booking system.
